DNR Conservation Warden Bob Jumbeck, based in Buffalo County, is looking for information regarding the attempted poaching of a deer in the Alma area.
Jumbeck says on the morning of Saturday, March 23rd he responded to an injured deer complaint on County Rd I in the Township of Nelson. The deer had recently been shot.
It's believed the shooting occurred during the evening hours of Friday, March 22nd.
The Alma Rod and Gun Club has offered a $250 reward for information leading to an arrest and conviction to those responsible. To provide information, please call Jumbeck at 608-685-6224. Callers can remain anonymous.
