The 35th annual Fools’ Five Road Race was held Sunday in Lewiston to benefit cancer research and another great group of runners turned out for the race. There were 3,048 participants in this year’s race and Aaron Gorman of Minneapolis was the overall winner in a time of 28 minutes and 40 seconds. Gabriele Anderson of Perham won the women’s race with a time of 30:25. Anderson, a two-time cancer survivor, was the guest speaker at the race. She ran at the University of Minnesota in collge and placed fourth in the 1500 meter run at the 2012 U.S. Olympic Trials.
