Deputy Police Chief Tom Williams said Christopher Sullivan is also facing a charge of liability for the crimes of another. Williams said Sullivan was trying to purchase the lottery tickets on April 4th at the Sinclair station on Highway 61 and when his check was not accepted, he fled the store with the tickets and other merchandise.
One of the tickets was traced to another store where it was cashed in by a woman for ten dollars. The woman has not yet been charged. Sullivan is being held in custody on some earlier charges.
