Final results show the 35th Annual Fool's Five Road Race in Lewiston this month brought in over $85,000 for cancer research.
The event's website says 3,048 people took part in the event this year.
In addition, 40 more people were added to the bone marrow national register who signed up during the event.
The bone marrow registration was in honor of Nora E. Surany, a local 14-month-old girl who lost her life to cancer in 2009.
Next year's Fool's Five Road Race will be held on April 6, 2014.
