The Winona County Board of Commissioners will hold two closed-door sessions next Tuesday, May 14th, at the County Government Center.
One session will be to discuss the pending appeal by 12 county citizens of the board's earlier decision not to require a full environmental impact statement on the proposed Nisbit sand mine in Saratoga Township.
The second session will be to consider strategies for labor negotiations.
The two discussions will come after the regular meeting, which starts at 9:00 a.m., is concluded.
During the regular meeting, board members will select the members of the county's Comprehensive Plan Citizen's Advisory Committee. 40 citizens applied to serve and as many as 15 will be selected.
The regular meeting is open to the public.
