The Minnesota Department of Agriculture is offering the public a chance to take a tour of the Great River Bluffs State Park to see the invasive Emerald Ash Borer up close.
The free tours are being offered on Saturday, May 18th, and Tuesday, May 21st. The May 18th tour starts at noon and will last two hours...the May 21st tour starts at 10:00 a.m and lasts about one hour.
Participants will get a chance to get a first-hand look at Emerald Ash Borer-infested trees and become familiar with the signs and symptoms of the E-A-B.
The Great River Bluffs State Park is located near Dakota along Highway 61.
The park is waving the daily parking pass fee for this event only.
