WSHS-Art Competition

The Winona Senior High School Art Department has announced the names of 3 students who have had art or photography chosen as the top 3 award winners in the annual U.S. Congressional Art Competition.
These students are: Spencer Hodge - 1st Place,,  Danny Young -2nd Place and Haley Christensen - 3rd place.

The 2013 Congressional Art Competition is open to all students in grades 9 - 12 in Minnesota.

The top winning students from each district have their artwork displayed at the U.S. Capitol in Washington, D.C. or in Congressman Tim Walz's offices. The 1st Place award winner is invited to
the opening of the exhibit and a reception for at the U.S. Capitol in June.

Southwest Airlines provides two tickets for transportation for the student and a parent or guardian for this event.
