Jobs-Energy Bill

Republicans in the Minnesota House say a House-Senate conference report on Jobs and Energy, that passed Wednesday, will kill jobs in the state.

The measure passed on a partyline vote and Representative Greg Davids says he voted against a decent jobs bill because the energy portion will raise electric rates.  Representative Steve Drazkowski told fellow House members raising electric rates will kill jobs.

Davids says the energy portion of the bill does nothing to make Minnesota more competitive with its neighboring states, in terms of business climate.
