The non-profit Winona Area Industrial Development Association (WAIDA) has completed successful demolition of two large silo's on its property in Wilson township.
The two silo's were cleared to create additional building space on the 12 acres currently being marketed by WAIDA for industrial development. WAIDA also owns an adjacent 190 acres, of which approximately 100 acres could be made suitable for future industrial development.
WAIDA President John Eddy says the removal of these two large silo's not only makes our acreage more attractive for industrial development, but also reflects our commitment to the idea that growing Winona area manufacturers should always be able to find room to expand.
The WAIDA property, commonly referred to as "WAIDA Acres", is located about 1 mile west of the Wilson town hall on Highway 12.
