An administrative controlled courthouse clerical position would be assigned 10 work hours per week in the Buffalo County Circuit Court register in probate office and 30 hours a week assignment as needed in other offices.
The proposal differs from a job resolution sent to the Buffalo County Board in April that was referred back to committee over a disputed shared position assigned to clerk of circuit court and register in probate offices.
Under a new plan endorsed by the Buffalo County Finance Committee Monday night, designated work hours of the position for clerk of circuit court duties were removed from the proposal.
The job would be assigned through the Department of Administration. Floater hours would be split up as needed, varying from week to week in assignment of time and department.
