Winona Police said a 38 year old Winona man was jailed early Wednesday after leading police on a chase with his motor scooter.
Deputy Police Chief Tom Williams an officer spotted Brandon David Tabor driving the scooter with expired license plates on Kansas Street about 12:45 a.m. When the scooter failed to stop for the officer, a brief chase occurred and Tabor also fled on foot. He was apprehended while hiding in some bushes in the 300 block of East Seventh Street.
Taber was cited with fleeing in vehicle and on foot and several other charges including possession of drug paraphernalia. The case was referred to the county attorney's office for possible formal charges.
