A Winona County resident has been appointed by Governor Mark Dayton to serve on the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency's Citizen's Board. Jim Riddle was appointed to a four year term.
Riddle is the current chairman of the Winona County Soil and Water Conservation District Board. He has also coordinated the University of Minnesota Southwest Research and Outreach Center and operates an organic farm in Winona County.
The citizens board has eight members, all appointed by the governor, and makes decisions on pollution issues across the state.
