The Minnesota State Track Meet wrapped up Saturday and Travion Clark provided the big highlight for Winona High. Clark blazed to a second place in the 200 meter dash finals with a time of 22.10 seconds. Clark also led the 4x200 meter relay to an eighth place finish in the finals with a time of 1:30.71.
Carly Moran took seventh in the 400 Saturday, Audrey Scharmer finished tenth in the shot put and Eric Birth ended up eleventh in the long jump. On Friday Ellen Blacklock took third in the discus.
Cotter’s 4x800 meter relay team finished fourth after coming into the meet with the top time from sections. Joe Koll placed twice, finishing sixth in the 300 meter hurdles and eighth in the 110 high hurdles.
Lewiston-Altura’s Evan Bain finished fourth in the shot put and Rushford-Peterson/Houston’s Noah Carlson was seventh in the triple jump.
