Winona Health Safety



Winona Health has earned a Hospital Safety Score of "A" from The Leapfrog Group, an independent national nonprofit run by employers and other large purchasers of health benefits.
                 
The A score was awarded in the latest update this spring . The A, B, C, D or F scores assigned to U.S. hospitals are based on preventable medical errors, injuries accidents and infections.
                 
Kathleen Lanik, Winona Health's chief quality and safety officer. said safety is nonnegotiable, and Winona Health continuously evaluates and improves its processes to ensure the highest level of quality and safety.
