Motorcycle Strikes Pedestrian



Winona Police said a passenger on a motorcycle and a pedestrian were both taken to Winona Health to be treated for injuries following a crash early Sunday.
                       
Deputy Police Chief Tom Williams said a motorcycle driven by 36-year-old Robert Lee Maringer of Winona struck a pedestrian identified as Mathew Bezdicek of St. Paul at the intersection of Third and Market Streets about 12:45 a.m. Sunday.

Both Bezdicek and the cycle's passenger, a 33-year-old female were injured and taken to the hospital.

Williams said Maringer of Lewiston was not injured.

Williams said the Harley Davidson was westbound on Third Street when the collision occurred.
