Winona State University's new Professional Science Master's Degree in Applied Research and Management is designed to provide advanced training, greater professional mobility, and improved job-security for professionals and recent graduates wishing to further their careers in science-related fields.
The degree is an innovative graduate degree that allows students to pursue advanced training in science or mathematics while remaining employed and earning university credits for work with a partnered employer.
The PSM program consists of two years of academic training along with internships and "cross-training" in skill areas that are in high demand, including business, project management, communications and regulatory affairs. All programs have been developed in concert with employers and are designed to dovetail into present and future professional career opportunities.
