A silent auction held by the Winona County Sheriff's Department netted about $14,500.
Chief Deputy Ron Ganrude a total of 76 bids were received on the 12 items that were up for auction.
Three out of four vehicles that were the result of DWI forfeitures went for a total of about $5200. One vehicle received no bids. That money from the DWI forfeitures will be split by the sheriff's department and county attorney's office.
Proceeds from the other items will go to Winona County's general fund. Four of those items, all vehicles, were from the county maintenance department.
