A Republican candidate who is running against First District Congressman Tim Walz in 2014 made a stop at Winona Radio on Wednesday.

Political newcomer Aaron Miller says he is running against the Democrat Walz because Washington can not stop it's over spending ways.

Miller says the Farm Bill Congress has been arguing over is important legislation because of the key role it plays in the economy of Minnesota and the nation.

The 44-year-old Miller has served overseas including in Iraq and Afghanistan and lives in Byron.
Miller joins Republican Representative Mike Benson who has also announced he will run against Walz.
