Assault Charge



A Minnesota City man is facing felony second degree assault with a weapon charges after he allegedly used a belt to strike a juvenile male.
                    
Winona County Chief Deputy Ron Ganrude said authorities were called to a residence about 11:00 a.m. Sunday and interviewed Larry Darnell Mosely who admitted striking the youth with a belt on the legs causing bruises.

Mosely was also accused of fifth degree assault and was held in jail.

The case is being reviewed by the county attorney's office.
