Cables containing a large amount of copper have been reported stolen from Twin Valley Ag located just north of St. Charles along Highway 74.
Winona County Chief Deputy Ron Ganrude said a burglary was reported early Thursday. He said entry was gained sometime between 9:00 p.m. Wednesday and 8:00 a.m. Thursday by forcing a door open.
Twin Valley Ag reported several long cables and extension cords containing copper wire were missing from an office along with a computer monitor. The items were valued at one thousand dollars.
Massop Electric, which had crews working at the site, also reported three long cords containing copper wire were taken. They were valued at $2,500.
