The United Way of the Greater Winona Area is continuing to partner with local organizations that support families in their efforts to raise healthy, thriving children.
Beth Forkner Moe, United Way executive director, says informing the public about the resources that the community offers is important.
Moe says their work with Winona Volunteer Services is an example of a partnership that benefits familes looking to stretch a dollar.
Local community partners of United Way of the Greater Winona Area include Grace Place, Hiawatha Valley Mental Health Center, Home and Community Options, Project FINE, Boy Scouts, Winona Family YMCA and the Red Cross.
