The Winona Area Public School Board has a number of important issues on its meeting agenda for Thursday night.
Among them is setting the school district's preliminary 2014 property tax levy which must be done before October First.
The board will receive an update on the latest student state testing data in math, reading and science, and will discuss the sale of capital facility bonds of about $2,100,000 to finance energy improvements to some district buildings.
In addition, the board will consider several options for expanding preschool programs in the district and will be asked to approve a special brochure advertising for applicants for superintendent of schools to replace Scott Hannon who will retire next June.
