Levee Park in Winona will be the site of a music and arts festival this coming Saturday, October 5th.
The inaugural Live at the Levee Festival will run from noon to 10:00 p.m. and is free of charge. It will bring an eclectic array of musicians, artists, and recreation activities to the park including: fishing, fire dancing, slackline and frisbee golf.
Eight different musical groups will perform during the festival. There will also be arts and crafts vendors, furniture, jewelry, quilts, handmade soaps and other items on sale.
A Chicken-Q will start at 11:00 a.m. and there will also be food trucks on hand.
The festival will go on rain or shine and public is invited.
The event is being put on by the River Arts Alliance and volunteers working with local officials to celebrate Levee Park and the historic downtown area.....
