Extension Agents



Buffalo County has renewed contract agreements with University of Wisconsin - Extension for agents headquartered at the county courthouse in Alma.

Cooperative Extension Services in Buffalo County includes agent contracts for agriculture, 4-H & youth development, family living and nutrition education.

Under a cost-sharing agreement, UW-Extension pays 60 percent of employee wages. Buffalo County pays 40 percent.

The county's share amounts to about 81-thousand-600 dollars for agent contracts running from July 1, 2013 through June 30, 2014. It was a 1 percent increase.
