The new Highway 43 bridge to be constructed next to the existing bridge could include some design elements unique to the City of Winona.
MnDOT Project Manager Terry Ward says a special citizen's committee has been working on design concepts for the new bridge that could include Winona's relationship with historic steamboats.
Ward says the design concepts will be part of the information that will be made available during a public meeting in Winona next week.
The public hearing will be held October 17th, from 4:00 to 6:00 pm at the Winona National Guard Armory.
More information on the design concepts is available on the Minnesota D-O-T website homepage. Type in Winona Bridge Project.....
