Authorities said two Minnesota City residents were jailed on Saturday after a search of their residence turned up meth and a synthetic drug.
Winona County Chief Deputy Ron Ganrude said a search warrant was executed at the residence, and taken into custody were: 52-year-old Anthony Simonick and 38-year-old Trisha Fenske.
Both were cited initially with felony fifth degree possession of narcotics.
Ganrude said the search turned up 1.5 ounces of a crystal substance that field-tested positive for meth. A small amount of powder that tested positive for a synthetic drug was also found along with hypodermic needles and drug paraphernalia.
Authorities used a no-knock search warrant to gain entry to the residence.
