Two developers have offered nearly $2 million for the former Trane plant property in La Crosse.
They have plans for a retail, office and housing complex. La Crosse Area Development Corp. executive director James Hill says the developers had the best proposal from among five solicited this summer.
A partner in the proposed project, Marvin Wanders of Three Sixty Real Estate Solutions tells the La Crosse Tribune construction is estimated at $15 million to $18 million.
