The Winona State women’s soccer team lost to Minnesota-Duluth 3-1 today in the NSIC semifinals in Mankato. The Bulldogs scored the first three goals of the game before Shauna Rodman got the Warriors on the board late in the game. The three goals is the most goals Winona State has given up this season. The only other time this year that Winona State has given up more than one goal was a 2-1 loss to Minnesota-Duluth back in September.
Today’s loss ends Winona State’s 13-game winning streak and drops them to 15-3-2. Winona State will more than likely receive an at-large berth to the NCAA Central Region tournament that begins next Friday.
