Noon Lions Club Donation

Residents of Winona's Valley View Towers in Winona will have an easier time reading thanks to a recent donation by the Noon Lions Club.

The club has donated a Reader Magnification Machine that magnifies magazines, newspapers and books so those who have difficulty seeing can read them.

According to Lion Dave Kulas, it's part of the mission of Lions International to help those who have difficulty seeing. They support a coronary transplant bank in the Twin Cities, a Macular Degeneration Research Lab at the University of Minnesota, and a Seeing Eye Dog training facility in Rochester, Michigan.
