Winona State Soccer Players Named All-Region

Three members of the Winona State women’s soccer team have been named to the Daktronics All-Central Region team. Rebecca McCoy led the trio of Warriors selected with first team honors after anchoring a defense that allowed just 14 goals on the year. McCoy had three goals and an assist while claiming the NSIC Defensive Player of the Year award.

Morgan LeFebvre was named to the second team and both LeFebvre and McCoy have been named all-region three times.
Alaina Kne also earned second team honors after tying for the team-high with five goals and passing out a team-best eighth assists. Kne set a NSIC tournament record with four assists against Augustana.

McCoy has also been named to the Capital One Academic All-America team. McCoy, a Social Work major, holds a 3.96 average.
