The Canadian Pacific Holiday Train will be making another stop in Winona in December as it winds its way through the United States raising funds and food for local food shelves.
The 14 holiday-themed lighted train cars will stop in Winona at the Amtrak Depot at 5:15 p.m. on Wednesday, December 11th.
The train will feature special Christmas entertainment and make a donation to the Winona County Foodshelves operated by Winona Volunteer Services.
The event is free but if you go you are asked to bring some non-perishable food with you.
This is the 15th year the train will be traveling through the country.
Also on December 11th stops will take place in Wabasha at 7:15 p.m. and Lake City at 9:00 p.m before the train moves on to the Twin Cities and eventually makes it way back into Canada.
