Hit and Run



Winona Police continue to seek the public 's help in finding the driver of a vehicle that struck and injured a 75-year-old woman Wednesday.

Authorities said the woman, whose name was not released, was crossing at Broadway at Liberty Street when she was struck about 5:00 p.m.

Police are looking for a dark-colored van or mini-van. An orange passenger side headlight cover was left at the scene after the driver fled.

Police said they believe it could have been a Chevy, Pontiac, or Oldsmobile.

If you have any information to help find the driver you are asked to call the Law Enforcement Center at 477-6302.
