Dayton In Winona



Governor Mark Dayton stopped at Winona State University Wednesday and held a public forum with WSU and Saint Mary's University students.

Dayton addressed the crowd of about 200 and then took questions.

Dayton says the rollout of the MnSure website for the new health care signup could have gone better but compared with other states, it's been doing ok.

Dayton says he will continue to push for a moratorium on frac sand mining in southeastern Minnesota.

Dayton was joined onstage by Larry Pogemiller, Director of the Minnesota Office of Higher Education, and WSU President Scott Olson.
