Houston County-Wildlife Revenues



Houston County has received just over $24,000 from the U-S Fish and Wildlife Service.
                   
The funds are part of the revenue sharing the Fish and Wildlife Service is required to pay local units of government as compensation for the loss of tax revenue on lands that are part of the National Wildlife Refuge system.

The Town of Onalaska also received a check for $10,210 and the Town of Campbell received a check for $11,476.
