The Winona Area School Board meets Thursday and will vote to approve the 2013-2014 budget and tax levy.
The board will also vote on a proposed Spanish Immersion program next fall at Madison Elementary School.
The program would include teaching Spanish in one of two sections at Madison School in kindergarten and 1st grade. There would be one teacher for each grade level. It's also includes offering Spanish 1 as an elective to all 7th and 8th graders and Spanish 2 as an elective to all 8th graders.
Also on the agenda, the board will vote on a proposed preschool program at W-K Elementary School for next fall and will receive an update on the selection of a new Superintendent of Schools.
The board meets at 6:00 p.m. in Council Chambers at City Hall and the public is welcome to attend.
