Buffalo City Mayor



Buffalo City voters will be electing a new mayor in April.

Mayor Dan Wicka filed non-candidacy papers, according to the Buffalo City Clerk.

Alderperson Russell Lorenz, Jr., has taken out nomination papers with intent to run for a two-year term as mayor.
  
If Lorenz files for mayor, he will give up his seat on the city council, a two-year term also up for election on April 1sy.

City council member Brach Seitz intends to run for re-election and Ben Holien has filed intent to run for council office.

The city council has four alderpersons, all of them elected at-large for two-year terms.
    
Candidates for mayor and city council have until 5 p.m. on January 7th to file candidacy papers.
