A three-month debate over creating a new administrative job to split duties as assistant principal and school activity director led to the C-FC School Board authorizing the position at a recent meeting.
But talks about how the position is structured were likely to continue as school board members weigh in on job description duties.
The AD job services would include supervision of all sports and co-curricular programs, including fine arts, music, drama and FFA and FBLA chapters.
It would involve all activity scheduling and arrangements and supervision of program advisors and coaches and enforcement of student codes.
Terms of employment would include a 12-month contract with salary, benefits and conditions of employment yet to be determined.
