The Huntress Documentary

A Winona woman recovering from substance abuse is using a rigorous athletic training schedule to help her keep sober and healthy.

39-year old Sarah Hunter is a single mother of three and an alcoholic who gave up drinking almost two years ago.

To help stay sober, she has competed in more than 20 athletic competitions.

Winona filmmakers Terese Tenseth Market and Robert Pack are featuring Hunter's story in their film, "The Huntress".

Winona singer-songwriter Amanda Grace Hardy wrote a song for the film and says the subject matter intrigued her and it she was happy to get involved.

Hardy says Hunter has had a lot of sucess in her events and has been invited to the USA triathlon national competition next August.

The documentary, the Huntress, is expected to be released in late spring of 2014.
