After not having a good 2013 when it comes to sales growth, Winona's Fastenal Company is looking forward to 2014.
President and C-E-O, Will Oberton told a Winona Radio audience the company needs to show some improvement in the new year and pick up its sales growth.
Oberton said the biggest challenge for Fastenal in 2014 is finding enough people to work with the ever-expanding company.
Oberton says one of the secrets to Fastenal's success over the past 40 years is hiring at the bottom, training workers, giving them increased responsibility when it is warranted, promoting them to leadership roles, and then allowing them to make their own decisions locally.
Fastenal holds a special conference call on Wednesday morning to update the public on its 2013 results and look ahead to 2014. The event can be accessed by the public on Fastenal's website starting at 9:00 a.m.
