Fastenal Dividends

The Fastenal Company says its Board of Directors declared a quarterly dividend of 25-cents a share to be paid in cash on February 28th, 2014 to shareholders of record at the close of business on January 31st.

Fastenal began paying annual dividends in 1991, expanded to semi-annual dividends in 2003, and then switched to quarterly dividends in 2011.

According to the Wall Street Journal, in 2013, Fastenal paid quarterly dividends of 10-cents in March, 20-cents in May, 25-cents in August, and 25-cents in November. As previously reported, Fastenal lowered its February 2013 dividend payment to partially replenish its cash reserves.
