Students at Cotter High School and Junior High School Wednesday celebrated the completion of a construction project involving the John Nett Recreation Center.
The students gathered in the facility for a short ceremony to christen the $800,000 project that took five months to complete.
The team from the Schwab Company, which oversaw the project, also joined in the celebration. The students had a chance to tour the facility which includes a new concession stand and new bathrooms.
The public will get its chance to see the new addition when Cotter hosts a basketball game Thursday and all of the new facilities will be in operation.
