Winona's Fastenal Company is reporting a 6.7 precent increase in net sales during the month of January when compared to January of 2013.
Fastenal said its net sales totaled just over $293,000,000 for the month compared to nearly $275,000,000 in January, 2013.
Daily sales also increased by 6.7 percent compared to the year before.
The company says unusual weather last month impacted its North America business with distribution centers in Indianapolis and Atlanta shutting down for multiple days.
Fastenal did not open any new stores in January and ended the month with 2,607 stores.
