Representative Steve Drazkowski says he will introduce two bills at the state capital during the 2014 session...one to help farmers with new taxes and the other to help returning soldiers get jobs with local law enforcement agencies.
Drazkowski says one bill seeks to repeal several taxes enacted last year that will hurt farm families.
The bill would also repeal the ability for local governments to enact property taxes, and the ability for school districts to raise levies, both without voter approval.
The second bill would make it easier for military police officers returning home after active duty to obtain positions with local law enforcement agencies by lowering the requirement for past military police duty.
Drazkowski says the for the second bill came from a constituent who spent time in the military.
