SE Tech Interviews



The last of the three final candidates for the presidency of Minnesota State College-Southeast Technical was in Winona today.

Meeting with college officials, faculty, and staff, was Russ Rothhamer who is currently vice president for academic affairs at a community college in Arizona.    

The session lasted about an hour.

Two other candidates were interviewed earlier this week and they were: Dorothy Duran, vice president for academic affairs at Iowa Western Community College since 2006...and Laura Urban, provost and vice president for academic affairs at Gateway Community College in Kentucky since 2010.

The three also paid similar visits to the Southeast Tech campus in Red Wing.

The Minnesota State Colleges and Universities Board of Trustees will name the new president on March 19th and the top candidate will begin work on July First.
                   
Current president Jim Johnson will step down. after just over 30 years with Southeast Tech, on June 30th.
