Winona State University will offer the Senior University course "Outdoor Adventures" beginning Monday, July 7th.
This four-week course will allow students to gain an appreciation for the natural environment of the Mississippi River Valley through outdoor activities. Activities include rock climbing, canoeing and kayaking, as well as high and low rope course initiatives and elements.
The class will meet for four sessions in July with times and locations will vary depending on the activity.
Registration forms are available from the WSU Retiree Center, 457-5565. The class is open to the public and costs $50.
Senior University WSU consists of four to five-week, non-credit courses with no tests, grades, papers or homework. The courses are taught by WSU faculty, retirees and community members.
