Streets and uncontrolled intersections will be the subject of a Winona City Council information meeting on Monday. Mayor Mark Peterson says the council will hear an update on a project to resurface over 100 city blocks over the next two years. The work will also include repairing many of the potholes that have been occurring over the winter months. Peterson says the council will also hear some ideas on how to deal with uncontrolled intersections in the city and making them safer for both vehicles and pedestrians. The info meeting is at 5:30 p.m. Monday at City Hall with the regular meeting at 6:30.
