Ready Set School-Matching Grant

Ready Set School announces that Winona Radio has offered a $10,000 matching grant for the program.

Winona Radio Owner Jerry Papenfuss said this is the sixth year the grant has been offered.

The funds will match donations made to Ready Set School through April 15th, up to $500 per donation.

Ready Set School works to ensure that all Winona County children in grades K-through-12 have the basic and necessary school supplies and clothing for school.

100-percent of the money raised goes directly to the qualifying students in the form of vouchers which can be used at area stores for school supplies and clothing.

Donations are being accepted at any Winona National Bank.

Meanwhile, the Lakeview Drive In on East Sarnia street will hold a fundraiser for Ready Set School on Wednesday, March 19th. They will donate 10 percent of their proceeds from that day.
