Winona Police say a level two predatory offender has taken up residence in Winona.
Police said 39-year-old Dorelle Lynn Harris is living in the 100 block of East Third Street. He was released from prison on February 19th.
Police said Harris held an adult female victim and her child against her will and physically assaulted the woman. He gained access to the woman's home by breaking a window and used a weapon. Police said he was known to the woman.
Harris is not wanted by the authorities at this time but has registered with the state as a predatory offender. He was convicted in February of 2012.
Under state law Police are required to notify the community when a level two predatory offender moves in.
