Winona's Fastenal Company has been recognized as a winner of the Governor's International Trade Award. Fastenal is one of nine companies across the state to receive the honor at a state capital ceremony Tuesday. The companies were selected for developing and continuing to grow a significant part of their business in foreign markets, and for maintaining jobs in Minnesota to support international sales. Also selected to receive the award was Pepin Manufacturing in Lake City. Lieutenant Governor Yvonne Prettner Solon said the spirit of these businesses will help Minnesota build on the more than 133,000 jobs created since 2011.
