The Minnesota State Colleges and Universities' Board of Trustees will name a new president for Minnesota State College Southeast Technical next week.
The board will select one of the three finalists named for the position when it meets Wednesday, March 19th, in St. Paul at 1:00 p.m.
The new president will then be introduced to the public in Winona the next day, Thursday March 20th. That will take place in the Winona Community Room 205 at Southeast Tech beginning at 9:30 a.m.
The new president will be introduced to the public on the Red Wing campus the same day at 1:00 p.m.
Both sessions are open to the public....
The final candidates are: Dorothy Duran, Russ Rothamer, and Laura Urban
Duran has served as vice president for academic affairs at Iowa Western Community College since 2006, Rothamer has served as vice president of academic affairs at a community college in Arizona since 2012, and Urban has served as provost and vice president for academic affairs at Gateway Community & Technical College in Kentucky since 2010.
The new president will replace Jim Johnson who will retire at the end of June.....
